USD Eclipse - A Legend Reimagined for the Modern Era
Here is the latest generation of the USD Eclipse Anti — a vision turned into reality.
Inspired by the legendary USD Throne, the Eclipse brings one of aggressive skating’s most iconic silhouettes into the modern era. Rebuilt with updated technology, improved comfort, and advanced performance features, this skate is designed to honor the past while pushing the future of aggressive skating forward.
Inspired by the Throne. Built for Today.
The Eclipse carries the DNA of the original Throne, but every detail has been refined for modern skating. Its reimagined shell offers a more universal fit, making the boot comfortable for a wider range of foot shapes and foot widths. The result is a skate that feels familiar, powerful, and supportive, while offering improved comfort and performance straight out of the box.
New Flat-Bottom Platform
Built on a flat-bottom platform, the Eclipse delivers a solid and direct connection between boot, soulplate, and frame. This construction improves stability, power transfer, and overall control, making the skate feel responsive and precise under your feet. The flat-bottom design also creates the perfect foundation for the new shock absorption system and the UFS+ ready setup.
Dual Shock Absorption System
The Eclipse introduces a brand-new shock absorption system built around two key elements:
A durable PU heel shock absorber
A soft EVA insole
Together, they provide excellent cushioning and impact protection for big gaps, heavy landings, and long sessions. This dual-layer system helps reduce fatigue while giving skaters the confidence to push harder.
Adjustable Flex and Cuff Height
To let skaters fine-tune the feel of the boot, the Eclipse features an adjustable cuff with two height options. This allows you to choose between more freedom of movement or extra support, depending on your skating style. Customizable shell bridges also allow you to adjust the flex of the boot, giving you even more control over how the skate responds.
UFS+ Ready for the Lowest Possible Ride Height
The Eclipse is ready for the UFS+ system, enabling an extremely low ride height while maintaining full flat setup compatibility. This gives skaters the stability and responsiveness they need for technical tricks, fast lines, and controlled landings. By bringing the foot closer to the ground, UFS+ improves balance, control, and power transfer, helping the skate feel more connected and efficient.
Redesigned Soulplate
The newly designed soulplate features a wider and shallower groove, making groove tricks easier and more controlled. This updated shape reduces the need for deep knee bending during ledge tricks, allowing skaters to lock on with less effort while maintaining strong control.t the same time, the soulplate is designed to stay fast and smooth across different surfaces, making the Eclipse ready for both technical skating and high-speed lines.
Refined Feel and Iconic Sound
Just like the original Throne, the Eclipse includes a soft EVA layer between the shell and soulplate. This provides sound dampening, reduces vibration, and creates a more refined ride feel. It also gives the skate a unique acoustic character — arguably one of the best sounds in aggressive skating.
Team Model Setup
The USD Eclipse Team model comes equipped with a Kizer Fluid IV frame and an antirocker setup, making it ready for grinds, ledges, rails, and technical park or street skating right out of the box.
The USD Eclipse is more than a tribute to a legend. It is a complete evolution of an iconic skate, rebuilt for modern aggressive skating with improved fit, advanced shock absorption, adjustable support, UFS+ readiness, and a redesigned soulplate.
The skate that will eclipse anything you have experienced before.
