“This one’s been in my head for another year.”
The NT1 was a success and people loved it. The NT1-R takes everything I liked about the original NT1 and refines it.

The same clean all-white sneaker inspiration, the same versatile concept, but this time with a setup that feels more elevated, more supportive and even smoother to skate. When I made the first NT1, I wanted something that looked timeless and worked everywhere. Since then I kept skating it and loving it but at the same time changing details, testing ideas and trying to improve the feeling while keeping the essence of what made it special in the first place.
The result is the NT1-R. The “R” stands for rockered.

This skate comes with a subtle rocker and a longer wheelbase that gives it a more flowing feeling straight out of the box. Combined with the new 20six wheels, the setup feels faster to move around, smoother edge to edge and more stable without losing the dynamic feeling I like.

My Setup
• Zoom Boot – clean all-white design with matte silver details, interchangeable cuff, Trinity adapter, UFS SWAY soulplate compatible and the same shape that made the original NT1 my favourite shell.
• Updated MyFit PRIME liner – same concept as before but improved where it matters. The upper lace holes are reinforced and positioned slightly higher to improve durability and keep better tongue pressure on the shin. I especially like this when  skating tighter or with longer setups where extra support helps. The fit is also wider than the standard liner which makes it noticeably more comfortable while still keeping good support.
• MyFit Recall insoles – added for more comfort and a more responsive feeling underfoot.
• Personal touches – premium waxed white laces with engraved metal tag, this time with the new FSK logo. Optional slider and 45° ratchet buckle included in the box (I still skate them without).
• Trinity Nova Rockered frame – CNC cut for precision, sturdy and durable, matte silver finish to match the details of the skate, super lightweight and low to the ground with a subtle rocker that makes the setup feel more natural and fluid. It’s a lot of fun straight out of the box.
• Undercover 20six Vortex wheels – same premium Undercover quality as last year but this time in the new 26mm profile. I love how these feel. At first I was skeptical but after trying them back to back with standard wheels I felt like they were better in every aspect. Less vibrations, smoother ride and more control thanks to the bigger contact area, especially on tricks that use edges including slides. The rebound also feels improved which makes landings feel better. All this without losing speed or adding noticeable weight. Feels like there is no way back for me. Game changer!
• Wicked ABEC 9 bearings – fast, smooth and reliable.

The NT1-R keeps the same idea as the original. Clean style, proven Powerslide technology and my personal touches, but this time with more flow, more support and an even better feeling straight out of the box. I’m super proud of how these turned out and I am sure you will feel as good skating them as I do.
